Angel Hair Pasta & Shrimp with Smoked Cheddar

Description

This is a quick and simple but very decicious dish. Trust me, everyone loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb med-large shrimp
  • 1 lb angel hair pasta, cooked al dente
  • 2 c shreadded smoked chedder cheese
  • 1⁄2 c romano or parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 clv minced garlic
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 T parsley flakes, or more, if you want
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the pasta until it's al dente. Drain.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil; saute garlic for 1 minute. Add in shelled and cleaned shrimp. Saute until just about done- 3-4 minutes. Add in pasta & cheeses. Take off the heat. Mix well. Add salt & pepper & parsley. Toss the buter in to finish. Shrimp will finish cooking on their own. That's it. Be prepared for the ooohs and ahhhs.

I created this for my son-in-law, Scott and it's his favorite dish.
